Medieval Shoes

My first semester research project brought me into the world of medieval leatherwork and shoemaking. While I have been involved in re-enactment for years, and I know how to make most items of clothing, I had until this point done very little leatherwork

I have learned leatherworking skills from this project, and, perhaps most crucially, boar bristle needles!
